The Hogwarts locations for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban were filmed in Scotland, around Glencoe, where 'Hogwarts Lake' is Loch Shiel. But the lake where Harry sees the Hippogriff, and later confronts the Dementors, is Virginia Water in Surrey.
